Cats are my favorite (no offense to my dog moms out there), but I've always wanted a lap cat. Granted, cats are known for being pesky, but my little ol' heart could only dream of having a super sweet cat. 

Oakley first came into our lives May of 2018. I was at work when I get a calla coworker at our other office that they had found in kitten on the back patio. Not just any old kitten, the poor thing had a burn larger than a quarter on it's little head. My coworker rushes it to the local vet who doctored it up + gave it a clean bill of health. Of course I wanted to see it, so she brought it over to my office and I said I'd watch it until we found a good home for it. Lo + behold I went home with that little cutie and the rest is history. 

She has her moments, but Oakley is definitely part of the family now (I mean she even sleeps under the covers with me every night....
